Day 1 Galle > Ramboda > Nuwara Eliya

The first day, you will be travelling from Galle towards the central highlands of Sri Lanka via Ramboda. You will be stopping at Nuwara Eliya which is a premium holiday destination famed among locals and tourists due to its salubrious climate. You will be heading to the Victoria Park where you can relax and enjoy a stroll along the green grass and then explore the streets of the city which looks whimsical with cottages, villas and beautiful landmarks including the banks of Lake Gregory.

Victoria Park of Nuwara Eliya

Later, you will visit the highland city that was the premium holiday resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking through the streets with their pretty little cottages, quaint villas and beautiful mansions. Make a memory in the old red-bricked post-office as you purchase an inexpensive and colorful postcard to take home or send to your friends. Relax at Queen Victoria Park or on the shores of Lake Gregory.

Day 2 Nuwara Eliya > Horton Plains > Galle

Day 2 of the tour will begin from Nuwara Eliya and you will be transported to the Horton Plains National Park where you will enjoy a 3 hour trek. It’s main halting spots would Bakers Falls and the World’s End precipice. You will also learn about many endemic fauna that are found in the area while on the trek. After the conclusion of the trek, you will head back to Galle to end the tour.

Horton Plains National Park

Visit the beautiful Horton Plains National Park in Ohiya, with its montane grasslands and cloud forests. Enjoy the majestic views from the precipice of World's End and the cooling sprays from Baker's Falls. Catch glimpses of the many endemic faunae that make their home in the plains. Get to know more about the archeological finds that were discovered in the area.
