Kaudulla National Park Entrance Tickets

One of the best National parks in Sri Lanka known for its elephant population, monkeys, crocodiles and also a handful of leopards, the Kaudulla National Park is one of the many nature reserves that give you the opportunity to explore local wildlife. The elephant gatherings around the Kaudulla Tank usually happens during the dry season which is considered the best time to visit the park but Kaudulla is known as a year round destination due to the sightings of these magnificent mammals who stroll across with their herds in this natural habitat. Kaudulla is closer to the Minneriya National park making it a suitable environment for other wildlife to roam around as well. Birds, bears and many creepy crawly creatures are added to the list found at Kaudulla.

The topography is a variation of lowlands, hills, scrublands and forests while the park is flourished by the Kaudulla Tank. There are even abandoned chena cultivated lands and wetlands as well. The park is also a feeding and nesting ground for hundreds of species of birds while many being endemic to Sri Lanka making a visit to the park perfect for nature enthusiasts and bird lovers.
