Location of Last House, Tangalle

The Last House is located in Tangalle which is a seaside resort town about 195km away from Colombo. The property is found located at the end of the Mawella Beach which is along the Southern tip of the island offering guests the break to enjoy the beauty of one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. You can drive along the scenic Southern coastal road or reduce your travel time by taking the Southern Expressway. There are plenty of public transport options available while there is a train service that runs up to Matara which is 35 km west of Tangalle.

Accommodation at Last House, Tangalle

When you arrive at the Last House you can either book the entire house, the Cinnamon Hill suite or even rooms namely Moonamal, Atteriya and Na.

The Cinnamon Hill Suite - Spread across the entire upper floor of the house, this suite comprises of a large double bedroom that overlooks the garden and the ocean beyond. The room consists of an en-suite bathroom with WC, a shower, a bathtub and double basins. The Suite also includes a large balcony area that overlooks the sea and garden while private dining can be arranged upon request. The Cinnamon Hill Suite also consists of a large twin bedroom, overlooking the garden and the ocean with facilities including an en-suite bathroom with WC, shower double basins and bathtub. This bathroom can be shared with one more twin bedroom which is available upon request. If you book the entire suite you can enjoy exclusive use of the entire upper floor.

Moonamal - Separated from the main house and located on the ground floor, this large double bedroom overlooks the Indian Ocean. There are doors opening up to the front and rear gardens while room facilities consists of an en-suite bathroom with WC, shower and basin. There is access to an outdoor courtyard which consists of a shower area and separate double bath.

Atteriya - Located on the ground floor and again separated from the old house, Atteriya is also a large double bedroom that overlooks the ocean. It also consists of an en-suite bathroom with WC, a shower and a basin while there are also doors that open up to the front and rear gardens of the property.

Na - Situated towards the rear end of the property and away from the main house, this double bedroom overlooks the small lagoon and surroundings which are towards the inland. A smaller window gives you a glimpse of the beach as well as the ocean while the room itself consists of wide windows that overlook the beautiful environment. Room facilities include an en-suite bathroom with a WC and shower.

All three guestrooms include king sized beds, mosquito nets, a ceiling fan and an extra bed upon request.
