Azamara is the 5-star brand of Royal Caribbean International. The smaller, more personal ships are designed for approximately 700 guests and offer excellent service in the style of a premium boutique hotel. Due to the ships’ small size they can sail smaller ports, away from the usual routes in more than 60 countries around the world. Longer stays in the ports allow guests to get to know the visited countries, cultures and people more intensively. Especially experienced cruise guests feel addressed by the Azamara ships. The board language is English.The Azamara Pursuit was built in 2001 for Renaissance Cruises. As of August 2018, after a stay at the shipyard and extensive modernization, the ship will cruise the world’s oceans for the American cruise line. With a length of 180 meters the ship is similar to its future sister ships Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest and can also accommodate nearly 700 passengers. The Azamara Pursuit has all the amenities of a premium cruise ship and the comfort and facilities of a boutique ship. Due to the small size of the ship, guests can look forward to special destinations, long stays and overnight stops on many high-class cruises worldwide.
